How We Serve
Community Free Meal
The community free meal is served every Wednesday from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM Carry-out services are available at 6:30 PM. The meal is located downstairs in the Fellowship Hall at Grace Church.

With a significant percentage of the Rochester Community School students on the free or reduced lunch program, the idea of a Grace free meal outreach ministry was conceived. Held on Wednesdays, this meal is available to anyone desiring a nutritious supper and fellowship. We now serve over one hundred fifty people at each meal. Each week we rotate churches that prepare the meal. The churches involved are the First Christian Church, First Baptist Church, Mill Creek Church, and Grace Church.
2nd Quarter Coins for Christ
The Support Café (formerly The Recovery Café) is moving in a new direction.

They are expanding programs to support people affected by suicide, either ideation, attempts or the loss of someone. Military veterans are being invited to their own space and time as their shared experiences are often shared trauma. Soon they will be hosting grandparents raising grandchildren, helping them address the unique challenges of that experience. Lastly, under a new category, this summer they will be launching support and education programs for moms and babies. This is in addition to providing support for those with substance use and mental health issues they have supported from day one.

Their licensed therapist sees over two-dozen individuals each week in her office, from children to seniors dealing with everything from bullying to suicide to abuse to complex psychological issues at no charge to the client.

The Mission Team has chosen The Support Café as the recipient for the 2nd Qtr. Coins for Christ. This much-needed resource in our community will benefit greatly from your generosity. If you feel called to support them with a check, please indicate Coins for Christ on the memo line and you may also give to this worthy cause online.

Thank you for your generous hearts,
Grace Church Mission Team
Prayer Shawls Ministry
A ministry we have to give peace, joy and comfort to those who are terminally ill or that have recently had health related issues. The prayer shawls are prayed over by the pastor and the ladies who make them. Our recipients are overwhelmed by the love and comfort these bring to them! If you knit or Crochet and would like to make a Shawl, please contact the church office!
